I first saw 'Talk Like Ted' in WHSmith in Cardiff train station. Due to my trains planned arrival being 2 minutes away, I had to pass up the opportunity to grab a copy. The following weekend I finaly got my copy from a local bookstore. Two days later I finished the book and decided to film a review.
Here is the video of my thoughts on the book
When I made the video I shared it across my social media platforms, a few hours later a notification popped up showing me this:
It was a great feeling knowing that I caught the attention of the books author.
I have to thank Carmine Gallo for acknowleging my video and I look forward to reading more of his work.
Interesting Fact: The day that I wrote this blog was the 15th anniversary of the earthquake that that shook El Salvador. The Terremoto(earthquake in Spanish) measured 7.7 on the richter scale. At least 944 people were killed, 5,565 injured, 108,261 houses destroyed with another 169,692 houses damaged. It was said that the tremor was felt from Mexico City to Columbia.
It is sad to think that tomorrow (valentines day) people around the world will celebrate love unaware of what happened 15 years ago in El Salvador.
